We are a growing organization seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level IT Support Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for newcomers to the IT industry to gain practical experience and build a foundation in technical support.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive comprehensive on-the-job training and guidance to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by end-users.
  • Learn to diagnose problems, analyze symptoms, and provide step-by-step guidance for issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with experienced IT staff to escalate complex issues and seek assistance when necessary.
  • Assist users with software-related problems, including application crashes, error messages, and compatibility issues.
  • Learn to troubleshoot network connectivity problems, such as slow internet speeds, Wi-Fi connectivity issues, and network resource access problems.
  • Provide support for hardware malfunctions, including printers, keyboards, mice, and peripherals.
  • Assist users with login and authentication issues, such as password recovery, locked accounts, and access permission errors.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions using our help desk ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with experienced IT team members to enhance support processes and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Some college or graduate degree in related field. This position is ideal for newcomers to the IT industry.
  • Basic understanding of computers and technology.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in troubleshooting software, hardware, network, and authentication issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with end-users.
  • Ability to follow instructions and guidance provided by experienced IT staff.
  • Familiarity with common operating systems, software applications, and networking protocols is a plus.
